1. Play guessing the word to review the alphabet.
Just pick a word from the word wall list in your child’s homework. You write lines to show the number of letters in the word. Your child says a letter in French, if the letter is in the word you write it down.
Ex: word “rouge”. You write ____ _____ _____ _____ ______
2. Memory game.
Copy the word wall words, twice for each word, on little cards and play matching/memory game. Make sure to say the word before winning a pair!
3. "Read my mind " game.
Copy the word wall words on cards, place them on a table and give your child clues for her/him to guess the word you pick.
Ex: regarde: *My word has 3 syllables.
*My word has 3 vowels.
*My word has the sound “d”
4. You can also borrow short simple French books from the Public Library.
